The Appalachian Grazing Conference is held every two years and offers informative presentations and demonstrations to farmers with cattle, goats and sheep. Participants hear from America's leading speakers on strategies designed to increase their profits. In the YouTube menu tab, you will be directed to our channel, where you will find presentations from previous conferences and other informative material.
The Appalachian Grazing Conference is a cooperative of the Pennsylvania Department of Agriculture, Southwest Pennsylvania Project Grass, USDA-Natural Resources Conservation Service in West Virginia and Pennsylvania, West Virginia Association of Conservation Districts, West Virginia Conservation Agency, West Virginia University Davis College of Agriculture, Natural Resources and Design and West Virginia University Extension Service.
April 30, 2026 WVU Reymann Memorial Farm ($25.00)
This one-day event will be held from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM at 1695 State Road 259 N, Wardensville, WV. The keynote speakers at each site will be Allen Williams, John Genho, and Troy Bishopp. This event will also feature local speakers. Lunch is provided.
May 1, 2026, WV State Fair Grounds ($25.00)
This one-day event will be held from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM at 947 Maplewood Ave, Lewisburg, WV. The keynote speakers at each site will be Allen Williams, John Genho, and Troy Bishopp. This event will also feature local speakers. Lunch is provided.
May 2, 2026 WV State Farm Museum ($25.00)
This one-day event will be held from 8:00 AM to 4:00PM at 1458 Fairground Road, Point Pleasant, WV. The keynote speakers at each site will be Allen Williams, John Genho, and Troy Bishopp. This event will also feature local speakers. Lunch is provided.
